Riviera Trains apologises for air-conditioning failure on Mk.2fs

ROLLING stock provider Riviera Trains (RT), has offered recompense to UK Railtours (UKR) after it supplied two vehicles in which the air conditioning was inoperative, leading to uncomfortable conditions for passengers.

The affected railtour was UKR’s ‘The Anglian Angel’, which ran on September 9. The two Mk.2fs were Tourist Standard Opens (TSOs) Nos. 6024 and 6054. Another incident of a carriage with the air-conditioning equipment not operating occurred on July 29, this time on Pathfinder Tours’ ‘The Capital Deltic Reprise’. This was Mk.2f TSO No. 5921.
