English Paper Piecing (EPP) and fussy cutting are a match made in heaven. This technique works brilliantly with print scraps you’ve been saving up or with a themed bundle of fabrics for a more cohesive look – just use what you’ve got to hand!

HOW TO FUSSY CUT FOR EPP

MAKING A TEMPLATE

Template plastic sheets can be bought relatively cheaply, or you can repurpose an old plastic folder or some plastic packaging. The template plastic has a slightly rougher side to help it stick to the fabric, so when drawing make sure you draw on the smooth side.
