As a label operator, I have advised artists in such a case to try to recreate a similar sample. I remember Command Strange from Kazakhstan, who accepted the challenge. On the one hand, it showed his good attitude. On the other hand, as a producer, you learn a lot - and appreciate the importance of a sample even more.

Resampling is often an issue in the production process - and also here. Own productions become really tangible through resampling - in order for you to be able to use self-made material in the same way as samples, you have to resample yourself! It is not necessary to produce a whole piece, a short fragment is enough.

If you use Tracklib, which is currently present through a lot of advertising, you will find great samples that have been licensed from publications all over the world. But you are obliged to deliver regular statements about the income of your track, if you want to publish your work, and you have to withdraw the publication immediately, as soon as you don‘t do that anymore. This is probably not clear to many users.
