I left off last time (August issue) with a long list of jobs to do and a short time to do them in, with the first hurdle being to get the bike into a state where it could be set up on the dyno.
Luckily, all the parts I was waiting on turned up. First up I refitted the cooling system using some nice, fancy bright green silicone hoses, filled with water and lock-wired the filler cap. Next, I took the air-box off to check the coils and change the spark plugs, fit a K&N Filter and also look at the IVAC hoses as they are prone to perishing and causing issues with low-speed running and idle; they were in a poor state so I replaced them with some new good-quality silicone hose.
