It was a hot spring day on 27 April 1985 when bespectacled grandmother Mildred Matheny, 78, left her Florida home.
She rarely went out, she'd forget where she was going.
Get lost and confused.
Mildred had worked for 40 years as a psychiatric nurse at a mental institution.
She'd cared for her brother, too, when his mental health started to deteriorate.
Only now, a retired pensioner, she was the one struggling with her mind.
Mildred had moved to Lake Worth from Arkansas two years earlier, to live with her sister Gladys Nolan, 75.
These days, her sister had to help her get dressed.
