For the people of Marysville in Victoria, life would never be the same after the holocaust of Black Saturday, 2009. Penni and Tony Thompson count themselves lucky, however, as although most of their property was devastated by the inferno that raged across the district, they were able to save their home and none of their immediate family was injured or killed in the tragic event.
