BUGORAMA #89 45 YEARS OF TRADITION IN SACRAMENTO

The Sacramento Bugorama has taken place at Sacramento Raceway Park since its inaugural event. This gathering holds a unique significance, not only for local VW enthusiasts but also for people from all around California, neighboring states, and even across the globe. The atmosphere of this event is remarkably well-preserved, reminiscent of the 1970s. The surroundings of the location appear to have remained unchanged for several decades. The dragstrip, enveloped by open land space, serves as the ideal setting for a car show, swap meet/vendors’ area, and even a campground – making this location the heart of the Bugorama event.

Unfortunately, there is still some uncertainty: this property could possibly be sold, and this year might mark the end of the glorious era of the Sacramento Bugorama. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope
