XK8 water damage?

Q I have a 2001 XK8 and recently cured a problem with the upper section of the door seal which had resulted in water following the rubber seal down the A-pillar and then travelling down into the driver’s footwell.

I now have electrical problems that I didn’t have prior to the water damage:

Firstly, even when the engine is up to temperature and the temperature is selected as ‘high’ in the vehicle, I am not getting a hot blow coming through vents – it remains lukewarm.
