    Two historic steam ships met up with one another was staying in Poole for a week and returning to its home port after visiting the Bournemouth Air Festival, while paddle steamer was enjoying part of its three-week long sailing programme in the south of England. The two steamships put on a great show for their respective passengers, with the sounding of steam whistles and sirens as they met up. was the final steamship built for the LNER in 1947, and is claimed to be the world’s final seagoing paddle steamer.
