have worked many years as a charter skipper for Sail Ionian and have seen a good deal when it comes to crossed anchors. One of the worst I remember was one morning on charter in Kalamos harbour. The morning after a summer storm. The evening before, anchors had been dropped all around us. The harbour was packed as George, the taverna owner, had been helping in as many yachts as possible, with promises of great shelter and even better food!
