The last three events I’ve attended have been dogged by the biggest problem in our sport. Too much or too little wind. The J/70 Europeans suffered from a lack of breeze in Weymouth Bay, the America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta in Spain was the same, and now I’m sitting in Portsmouth in the middle of a full-on gale that has prevented the Formula Kite Europeans getting underway.
