The ‘23 is 100 The Streaker

ONE of the earliest Glass Repros ‘23 T-bucket bodies was purchased by Bruce Savage, a slightly older gent (he was pushing 40), who was a member of the newly formed Southern Street Rodders club in Christchurch.

Built in 1973, Bruce's blue bucket was known as The Streaker. It was on the road by ‘74, and Bruce drove it to the Palmerston North Easter Hot Rod Show. The following year, apart from appearing in Autorama ‘75, The Streaker was also the poster car for the show. Following the show, Bruce took the T on the very first Greymouth Rod
