I WAS interested to read the article on a JM Winterbottom it states that captive red-headed finches can be taught to talk, though not as well as parrots. A colleague reared a red bishop and a red-shouldered whydah which mimic a series of strange whistles as well as saying “Pretty boy”. It would be interesting to read of similar experiences from your readers.
