CAMPAIGN FOR PURITY: SHUDH KE LI YE YUDH

Everyone deserves safe and quality food that provides value for money. Food items must be nutritious and of high quality. Stringent measures need to be taken against adulteration, and those responsible should face consequences. In January 2022, the Ashok Gehlot-led government in Rajasthan launched the “Shudh ke Hye Yudh” campaign to combat adulteration. This initiative followed the establishment of the Directorate of Food Safety. This strategic move aimed to create strong regulations for the campaign and enforce strict penalties for adulterators.
