When Gina Gleason joined Baroness as lead guitarist in 2017, she made the interesting transition from being a longtime fan to becoming an essential part of the band’s creative machinery.
It was in 2012 that she heard the band’s music for the first time. She laughs at the memory. “My brother showed me Baroness when the Yellow & Green album came out and he was like, ‘I think I’m about to show you your new favourite band. It’s a metal band but it’s got a little more special sauce to it.’”
