GREAT Walks takes five with Kris Sheppard, Senior Project Officer for the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service who has been working on the new 27km Tomaree Coastal Walk (see our feature, pg 26) for two years.

GRW: What's your earliest bushwalking memory?

KS: Growing up in Lake Macquarie, located just south of Newcastle, I used to spend many hours during my childhood exploring the bush along the Green Point Foreshore between Belmont and Valentine.
