Coping with... SALIVARY GLAND STONES

Most saliva in your mouth is produced by six salivary glands: the parotid glands lie below the ear delivering saliva through a small opening in your cheek next to your upper back teeth; the submandibular glands lie beneath the jaw, saliva coming through a small opening under the tongue; and the sublingual glands are small, in the floor of your mouth, draining through several small ducts under the tongue.
