About a dozen or more things probably spring to mind when you think ‘Warframe’. Whether it’s fleeing the Stalker or remembering Second Dream’s stunning narrative twist, Digital Extremes’ robot game isn’t short of exceptional scenes that’ll linger in your mind. Choosing the very best is no easy task, but we’ve done it, and selected the ten most memorable moments from Warframe’s decade of life.

10 Ticker’s memory

Repayment with interest

Ticker’s experience with the Corpus Empire shows just how badly things can go when you get on its bad side. The Solaris is a group of people bound to the Corpus by crushing debt, which rarely shrinks, even if the Solaris make regular payments. It gets passed down to their children, and if they don’t pay it back, they can be “brain shelved”, where the Corpus places their brains in a sensory deprivation tank until someone pays their debt.

It’s a bleak existence, and Ticker, the shopkeeper, has seen its dark side. The Corpus brain-shelved a close friend or family member (Ticker’s memory never makes it quite clear) and Ticker dedicated themself to paying off the debt. They succeeded, but the Corpus never promises to return a brain in mint condition. Ticker’s loved one can’t remember them. All Ticker has left is the torment of knowing the last time they spoke, they parted in anger, and Ticker can never put that
