WHO IS CHAUSSON?
Chausson motorhomes are built by Trigano VDL, with its main factory in the picturesque Ardèche region of France. One of the largest caravan and motorhome factories in Europe, it is also home to Challenger motorhomes (Chausson's sister brand, which is not sold here) and Caravelair caravans.
Chausson vehicles have been available in the UK since 2003, with Britain being the company's second-largest export market. With a reputation for strong value and innovative design, the French maker has also risen to become one of the top-selling imported motorhome brands here.
Its range includes Fiat-based van conversions, as well as low-profiles on Ford, Fiat and Peugeot chassis, plus the very innovative X550 campervan rival.
