I'm in a campsite reception in Italy, trying to check in. It's not going quite how I envisioned and, after 20 minutes, I've concluded that:
Visiting the Italian Lakes in August in a motorhome is foolish. It's too busy and too hot. The Italians love to shout at each other, even when they're stood next to each other. There is currently no water in the showers on the campsite. It's unclear This campsite has no record of my reservation. Possibly because (as I've just realised) it's not the correct campsite. And yet, they've taken my passport and locked it away. Trying to explain your mistake to an irate and expressive Italian lady who is ranting about water is impossible.
