SOPHIE WELLS added another medal to Britain's tally with a fabulous bronze in the grade V freestyle. Sophie finished behind Belgium's Michèle George (Best Of 8), claiming her second gold of the week, with the Netherlands’ Frank Hosmar (Alphaville NOP) in silver.

Sophie went first in the final block of four riders. Her exquisite young mare LJT Egebjerggards Samoa (Diana) has truly come of age at these championships, showing just how excited British fans should be about her prospects.
