The Fury show

AS CHEDDAR cheese sablés and miniature aubergine tacos were passed around, two British heavyweights brawled on a red carpet.

This was a boxing press conference, but not necessarily as we know it, as Tyson Fury formally announced his Saudi Arabian night with Francis Ngannou on October 28.

For the presser venue, they chose HERE at Outernet, the purpose-built event space which has grown most accustomed to hosting music since it opened a year ago. Indeed, the last time this writer was there, drum and bass duo Chase & Status played from the stage on which Fury asked Ngannou to get his “corey” out.
