BENTLEY ARNAGE T(2002-2009)
After the messy and much publicised divorce and subsequent settlement that saw Rolls-Royce become owned by BMW and Bentley by the Volkswagen Group (VWG) came the business of actually making cars. And at Bentley, there was the pressing issue of replacing the BMW drivetrain in the Arnage, which was destined to remain in production for much longer than its cousin, the Rolles-Royce Silver Seraph.
The arsenal of engines at Volkswagen Group’s disposal was pretty vast: Audi could offer powerful V8s as well as the W12 engine that would appear in the Phaeton, which had debuted in prototype form as far back as 1997.
