KID’S KORNER

Pretty in Pink

MATERIALS

1 x clasp and tag set
2 x crimps
60cm flexible bead wire
2 x Charlotte ends

BEADS

70 x seed beads
28 x rondelle beads
8 x bubble beads

TOOLS:

Wire cutters
Flat nose pliers

STEP ONE

Cut the flexible beading wire in half; thread onto both pieces of beading wire 1 x crimp; using chain nose pliers, squash crimp as close to the ends of both the wires as possible.

STEP TWO

Using 1 x Charlotte, take both bead wires and thread through the Charlotte from the inside to the outside; trapping the crimp inside, gently squash the Charlotte closed.

STEP THREE

Thread 1 x bubble bead onto both strands, then separate the strands.

STEP FOUR

Place 1 x seed bead on each strand, thread the following pattern: 1 x rondelle and 1 x seed bead – a total of four times on each strand.

STEP FIVE

Lay a bubble bead on your mat. Take both wires one in each direction through the bead – one from left to right and
