Mission ignition

When the Mini was launched back in 1959, it was (like all other cars of the time) equipped with an ignition system that comprised a distributor with points and a condenser plus the other required components, including a coil, high tension leads and spark plugs. The same basic set-up was used into the 1990s and, when maintained correctly and regularly, it works
