    ‘I made my own built-in storage for a sleek space’

    STEP INSIDE…

    WHO LIVES HERE? I'm Ami Scott, 46, a pharmacist, with my son Josh, 13, and our Jack Russell Minnie. Our home is a detached, three-bedroom house built in 1925 in Reading, and we've lived here for nine years.

    WHAT WAS UPDATED? This room was really mismatched, and didn't suit my needs, so I transformed it with sleek, DIY fitted furniture and lots of pretty accessories.

    WHY THE CHANGE? I got a new job that involved me working from home full time, so I needed a dedicated space that is organised and clutter-free.

    It took six months, as we had to move the radiators, rewire and construct the DIY
