JoBo takes on blues classics and more…

Joe Bonamassa is pretty much the king of modern blues these days and it’s hard not to be aware of him if you’re a fan of BB King/Eric Clapton/Gary Moore, et al. With this new album he’s celebrating the 20th anniversary of his album (recorded when he was 26) with a second volume that features two new originals and eight covers. Of the covers, the span goes from Bobby Bland’sto Guitar Slim’svia Fleetwood Mac’s and Albert King’s. With a killer band, it’s a rich variety of songs that swing, chill and emote with Joe at the centre with great vocals and an array of killer guitar tones.
