Angela Rippon may be Strictly Come Dancing’s oldest ever contestant – but that certainly doesn’t mean she’s the least supple.
The journalist, who turns 79 in a few weeks’ time, can, incredibly, still do the splits and high kicks, almost 50 years after she showed off her ballroom skills in Morecambe and Wise’s 1976 Christmas special.
