Kia ora!

really do love my job, but after a long day of writing, editing, emailing and proofreading, my brain can feelcontestant. There is only one proven cure – reality TV. The drama of other people’s everyday lives somehow soothes this couch potato’s soul and was an entertaining lifeline in recent weeks. If you were addicted as I was, you’ll be stoked to read our interviews with deserving winners Sam Smith and Anna Reeve (page 22), who prove that having autoimmune disorders, such as his MS or her alopecia, aren’t necessarily a barrier to success – in fact, it can be an advantage! I highly recommend any fans of the show immediately go ahead and binge the UK version of on ThreeNow. Meanwhile, after sailing my way through almost every episode of the franchise, I’m hanging out for the new season of which kicks off next week. You can check out our chat with A-list contestant Matilda Green on page 18. Enjoy the mag and have a great week.
