With a full-blown email client, calendar with offline access, RSS reader, task manager, notes app and lots more available through extensions, it’s tempting to ask whether Vivaldi is more of an operating system than a web browser.
The company isn’t blind to the complexity of its offering. When you first install Vivaldi you’re given three layout options: Essentials, Classic or Fully Loaded. Essentials hides pretty much everything bar the basic browsing tools; Classic adds a few more advanced features, such as Web Panels (see opposite) and the browser’s fast-forward and rewind buttons; Fully Loaded gives you the lot.
