WE ARE surprised that the Department of Basic Education would so willingly expose its intent to use the Basic Education Laws Amendment (Bela) Bill to disempower school governing bodies (SGBs) and communities.
James Ndlebe, the chief director for provincial monitoring and delivery oversight, said in the statement: “It
