Poverty a major factor in growing problem of human trafficking

Poverty, homelessness and gangsterism are contributing factors in human trafficking.

This week, Women’s Circle in Delft, trained by the organisation Free 2 Fly, which focuses on human trafficking, shared their knowledge with the youth and the community in a workshop.

Susan Jantjies, who arranged the workshop at the Delft Civic Centre, encouraged participants to do their own research, to visit their website, and to know the signs of human trafficking.
