“I used my granny square from this year’s Granny Square Day as the base for my design. I kept the mitts fingerless because I love taking pictures on autumn walks but still want to have warm hands! The colours remind me of sweet memories made on October holidays in Kent – the clear blue morning skies, the chilly gray afternoons, the yellow leaves ready to fall from the trees and the orange pumpkins waiting for Halloween.
