The subject of wet weather racing came to the forefront once again at the Dutch Grand Prix at the end of August. As the weather changed from moderately dry to pretty wet, drivers skated off the track with varying results – one hit the tyres hard, two others escaped without damage and the decision was taken in race control to stop the race.
