Organizations Wrestle with Future of David Adjaye Projects

Leading international arts and cultural organizations around the world—from the United States to the United Arab Emirates—canceled or paused projects by architect David Adjaye after the () reported on July 4 the cases of three women, all former employees of histerminated plans for a 32,000-square-meter campus designed by the Ghanaian-British architect. The Studio Museum in New York also cut ties with Adjaye, who designed the organization’s new building in Harlem. In August, Liverpool’s International Slavery Museum followed suit.
