ENJOYING THE RIDE

Hello, Adventurers. It’s great to join the AAB team! I will be writing a new ‘how-to’ off-road riding skills column in every issue moving forward. So, who am I? Well, I’m a bit of a two-wheeled tragic with a massive love for adventure bikes, enduro, MX, trials, supermoto, road and track riding, and not to forget mountain bikes. If it’s got handlebars, chances are I’m interested.

I’ve been in the motorcycle industry for more than 20 years and have been riding bikes for 45 years. I’ve been an off-road motorcycle coach since 2000, starting with MX legend Stephen Gall’s Academy of Off-Road Riding program, then evolving towards adventure and enduro off-road training more recently.

Back in 2000 I also started writing for a motorcycle, which involved testing bikes and attending launches. That’s where I met Clubby, so we go back quite a way.
