Racer OR Trailrider?

While out riding with a bunch of readers last month, I was asked “So, what's the best bike at the moment?” That's a tough question, all modern bikes are pretty darn good. There isn't a single recognised motorcycle manufacturer producing a bad dirtbike. The group of riders I was riding with were two-stroke lovers and enjoyed punching out slow, challenging tracks so my response was “Anything in the 300cc two-stroke range for you fellas is pretty damn good right now!”

That's the case for hard enduro fanatics but what about riders who just like smashing out endless kilometres of singletrack? For years we've been saying the 350cc capacity is the best all-round trailbike motor. It produces plenty of usable power for any size human without the dangerous inertia found on bigger bikes.
