An oldie but a GOODIE!

When Jax first twisted the throttle on this PW50 I could see a new level of joy and excitement.

The PW50 was not the first tame 50cc motorcycle aimed at new riders. Honda had the QA50 and Z50A, Indian had the Mini Mini and Suzuki released the JR50 in 1978, a little brother to the RM50.

Nearly everyone who grew up riding dirtbikes threw a leg over a Yamaha PW50. Unfortunately, dirtbikes didn't appear in my life until I was about 12 years old which is a little too old to be hopping on a PW50. By the time I got to ride a motorcycle, I already knew what they sounded like and what made them move. Nothing took me by surprise. Looking back now, I think I missed out on that experience when I was younger and discovering things for the first time.
