Magen Pastor is taking art collecting into the 21st century This platform prioritizes inclusivity and accessibility, attracting discerning consumers seeking to connect with artists and curate their own art collections. The gallery boasts a diverse array of mediums, spanning from paintings, murals, sculptures, and ceramics to glass art, all beautifully capturing the essence of the Southwest. Featured here is a painting by Matti Berglund, a Norwegian artist living in Denver. “About half of our roster of artists are Colorado-based,” says Pastor. “I source a lot of the artwork we showcase from social media and word of mouth. So, as an artist, it’s really important to keep posting recent work, having clear images of your work, and using hashtags in order to be found.” Pastor also hosts the Dairy Block’s First Friday Art Walks where she displays pieces from Southern Kindness and other local artists accompanied by live music and pop-up bars. Stop by the penultimate art walk of 2023 at Dairy Block on Sept. 1, or browse to find your next wall-worthy work.
