When I graduated from the Amstrad to the Master System, he stuck with home computers, eventually moving from an Atari ST to an IBM 486 which he proudly. Id Software’s game blew me away, just as it did with everyone else that saw it, but the prohibitive cost of PCs at the time meant I had to wait a few more years for one of my own.
