The name “Packard” was not only used for cars. A fine line of trucks over the years into 1923 were fielded under the same grand name.
It was not unusual for a car maker to offer a line of trucks early in the 20th Century. To build a truck meant the vehicle was strong, reliable, very roadworthy (at slower speeds, of course) and a performer in getting goods to
