Throughout the history of agriculture in Limpopo, it has been clear the sector has been blessed, despite the continuous challenges faced by farmers.
This was according to Lodewyk de Jager, vice-president of Agri Limpopo, who opened the recent Agri Limpopo congress.
“The purpose of the congress this year is to create a platform for farmers to not only face and manage current challenges, but to keep on hoping for a better future.
“But, as the congress theme states, hope is a verb and hope needs to be created. We need to pull up our sleeves and create a better future for ourselves,” said De Jager.
