WEST NORFOLK branch member Rosie Ringer was the inaugural winner of the Chairman’s Cup eventing, a new class for this year.

The competition ran over a 1.05m cross-country course and 1.10m showjumping track, with a slightly more technical dressage test than the one used at 100 level. Competitors had to qualify to compete.

Rosie, 19, led from start to finish on The Classic Composer, completing on their 26.1 dressage.

“I’ve had a bit of an up-anddown season, especially with my showjumping,” explained Rosie, who works coaching sport at a school. “It’s taken time for our partnership to come together in that phase and it’s just been a case of practising. I’ve had a lot of help from some really good people, such
