Sprinkled with stardust

ELLIS PANTER was named Best Boxer of the Tournament at the Brandenburg Youth Cup in Germany. England came home with four gold, four silver and one bronze medal from Lindow, and their outstanding boxer was Panter.

He picked up the Best Boxer trophy after posting three unanimous points wins in as many days to strike gold at under-67kgs. The German and Ukrainian champions found the 17-year-old slickster from Burton Park ABC in Northamptonshire just about untouchable.
