Longing For An Old Life

hen I read Joy Kent’s letter (“Restless for the West,” July 2023), it brought back memories that I miss and understand. I was raised on my parents’ small ranch in southwest Oklahoma. I say small because my wife’s family owned, not having enough sense to know I was already there! Now I look back from my home in Tulsa and read your magazine to take me back there. Not a day goes by I don’t miss my horses, my cattle, and my cowboy lifestyle! I know how you feel, Joy. Thank you, .
