TIPS FOR USING FINDMYPAST

1 Watch for unique records. As of this writing, Findmypast is the exclusive home of the 1921 Census of England and Wales, as well as Catholic records from several big US cities (including New York City, Chicago and Philadelphia). The site also has strong coverage for UK and Irish parish records and newspapers.

Findmypast doesn’t have a “card catalog”>, where you can filter by keyword, place or time period. Click a collection’s name to learn more about it: what details it includes, where the records come from, and how to best use the record set.
