Princess Leonor takes her first steps in military training
WHILE her family is still revelling in Women’s World Cup glory, Princess Leonor of Spain has rolled up her sleeves at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza in Aragon, Spain, where she has begun three years of military training to prepare for her future as the country’s head of state.
Leonor (17) arrived at the academy accompanied by her parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, and her sister, Sofía (16). “The first days are going to be hard, but she will pass them with effort and patience,” the king said.
