What the brand says: This weatherproof suit is made from lightweight micro-fleece, making it good for cold-water swimming, and it has a dropped crotch for easy dressing. Its weatherproof outer shell and 100 per cent micro-fleece lining will dry you in no time. It comes in maroon, navy, black and green, and there’s a detachable hood (£58).
‘Let’s first address the main issue: you can’t change in this (if you can, I’d like to see that!). You could, however, wear it right after a swim while you head somewhere else to change. It does indeed have a dropped crotch (it comes to about 5in below mine). The size S is very flattering on my 5ft 8in frame with a nice nipped in waist, but when sitting down, the legs ride up to mid-calf. The cuffs also ride up a bit. If you’re taller than 5ft 7in, go for size M for the extra length. The pockets aren’t that practical as the side ones aren’t deep, be good is for allotmenting (with wellies to cover ankles), or for festivals, although you’d have to pull it all the way down to go to the loo!’
