A small lot can provide ample space for a diehard gardener to explore diverse plants and styles. Andrew Bunting’s home garden in Swarthmore, Pa., (USDA Zone 7a) proves this point.

Bunting is a garden professional whose 40-year career includes time working at Scott Arboretum and Chicago Botanic Garden. Currently he serves as Vice President of Horticulture for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
