n this issue, we celebrate the 35th annual Top Gun Scale Invitational, where top pilots and builders from around the world converged on Paradise Field in Lakeland, Florida to is proud to have been a part of this event since its inception in 1989, back when the event was held in Coral Springs, Florida. In this year’s feature coverage, we get up close with the planes and pilots that make this competition one of the biggest and best RC events out there. From graceful World War I warbirds to modern turbine jets that fly over 200 mph, these models are the ultimate in RC scale aviation.
